MARTIN CHUFFED TO SNAP UP DAI

LEICESTER boss Russell Martin says former Preston and Ipswich goalkeeper Dai Cornell will bring “character and experience” to the Foxes squad.
The 35-year-old was a free agent after leaving Preston in May and has signed a one-year deal.
Martin had been searching for an experienced back-up goalkeeper following an injury to first choice stopper Jakub Stolarczyk.
The 25-year-old Pole injured knee ligaments during the 2-0 victory over Plymouth earlier this month and was ruled out for the season after undergoing surgery.
