DAVIES DELIGHT AT SWOOP FOR BIRD

BIRMINGHAM boss Chris Davies says new signing Max Bird will bring versatility and leadership to the Blues midfield.
The 25-year-old arrives from Championship rivals Bristol City on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £2.2m.
Bird - Birmingham’s sixth signing of the summer - came through the youth ranks at Derby and made over 200 appearances for the Rams before joining Bristol City in 2024.
