MK DONS legend Dean Lewington says it is a ‘huge honour’ to have received the Sir Tom Finney Award as part of the EFL’s annual awards.
It was presented to him as a surprise whilst live on Sky Sports ahead of Portsmouth versus Leicester yesterday.
Lewington was a guest on the EFL show on Sky Sports Football, with previous winner Curtis Davies on hand to do the honours.
The Sir Tom Finney Award is given by the EFL in recognition of a player who has made an outstanding contribution to football and the League in their playing career.
