BRISTOL City boss Gerhard Struber is hoping to avoid a repeat of damaging transfer exits that derailed the Robins’ playoff bid.
Winger Anis Mehmeti (Ipswich) and defensive rock Zak Vyner (Wrexham) were both sold to Championship rivals in January as the club sought to cash in on players nearing the end of their contracts. City have since tumbled out of the play-off picture.
Summer offers are now expected for Ross McCrorie, Max Bird and Jason Knight, who are all out of contract in 2027.
