STUNNED IPSWICH FUME AT LEIF BAN

IPSWICH chairman Mark Ashton says he is “incensed” by the three-game ban handed to defender Leif Davis.
The left-back, 26, was sanctioned for an off-the-ball flashpoint with Leicester’s Caleb Okoli in last weekend’s 1-1 draw.
The incident was missed by match referee John Busby. However, the clash was caught on camera and deemed to be sufficiently serious to merit a charge of violent conduct. Davis will now be out until the trip to Norwich on April 11.
