PYE HUNGRY TO TASTE WEMBLEY

ETHAN Pye was denied the opportunity to play in two Wembley finals on consecutive weekends by Stockport boss Dave Challinor – but he’s now targeting a dream double under the world-famous arch.
Back in 2023, centre-back Pye, then 20, was recalled from his loan spell on the eve of Gateshead’s FA Trophy final against Halifax as Stockport also prepared for their League Two play-off decider on the hallowed turf with Carlisle.
