MIDDLESBROUGH remain in talks with Brighton over a deal to sign Ecuador winger Jeremy Sarmiento.
The 23-year-old has made 15 Premier League appearances for the Seagulls since arriving from Portuguese giants Benfica in 2021.
However, he has featured just once under current manager Fabian Hurzeler and spent much of the last two years on loan in the Championship.
