MANSFIELD boss Nigel Clough has followed in the footsteps of father Brian by picking up an honorary degree for his services to football.
The 59-year-old was given an honorary doctorate by Nottingham Trent University – 35 years after Clough Snr, a double European Cup winner with Nottingham Forest, received an honorary Master of Arts from Nottingham University.
