STAND-IN ECKERT’S RUN GRINDS TO A HALT

TRISTAN Crama’s final twist at The Den ended Southampton’s run of four straight wins and condemned them to a first defeat under interim boss Tonda Eckert.
The stand-in manager insisted the defeat was down to small but fine
details during the match. Eckert said: “Every game, at the end, consists of small moments.
“I think we had the chance to go up in the first half, didn’t manage to, then we did go up in the second half.
