MCCANN ‘BUZZING’ TO STAY WITH PNE

SETTLED: Ali McCann

PRESTON boss Paul Heckingbottom says handing a contract extension to midfielder Ali McCann was a no-brainer.
The Northern Ireland international, signed from St Johnstone in 2021, is approaching 150 appearances for North End.
His current contract was due to expire at the end of the 2026-27 campaign, but the 25-year-old has now signed fresh terms that will keep him at Deepdale until the summer of 2029.
