According to accepted wisdom, you need a minimum of 40 points to stay in the Premier League.
Ian Evatt, who was part of the swashbuckling Blackpool side that went down in 2011, isn’t having any of it.
“We got 39 points that year,” recalls the 43-year-old, who left his job as Bolton manager in January after four-and-a-half years at the helm.
