BRISTOL City boss Gerhard Struber says Max Bird is “super frustrated” after suffering his second calf injury of the season.
The midfielder missed most of pre-season and the opening-day victory over Sheffield United but had featured in every subsequent game before sitting out last week’s 3-1defeat at home to Oxford after hurting his calf in training.
Struber initially said the injury was “not so bad”, but the 25-year-old has now been sent for scans and is expected to be out for a significant period.
