JOHN Mousinho said defeat was a reality check for his Portsmouth players after the high of last weekend’s 0-0 south coast derby draw at Southampton.
Pompey went into the game on the back of that morale-boosting performance, but never found their rhythm, with errors gifting the opposition opportunities and a poor first half leaving them chasing the contest.
