YOU only had to look at the Grimsby Town fans remaining in Blundell Park long after the final whistle had blown on Wednesday night to realise something extraordinary had just happened.
They stood around with a mix of elation and disbelief etched on their faces after the Mariners had dumped mighty Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup. It was as if they couldn’t quite believe what they had just witnessed.
