CANNON WOE FOR DRAGONS

WREXHAM have suffered a major blow to their promotion hopes with the news that midfielder Andy Cannon faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
The 28-year-old suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in the Red Dragons’ 2-1win against Mansfield last Sunday.
Manager Phil Parkinson said: “Our thoughts are with Andy at this time. Rest assured, we’ll get him the best possible treatment and he’ll come back better than ever.”
