A record of 13 wins (23%) and 32 defeats (57%) in his last 56 games in a dugout is being held up as a reason for Coventry City not to have employed Frank Lampard, evidence that he does not have what it takes.
His 44 wins in 84 games at Chelsea (52%) in his longest managerial post are ‘to be expected’ according to these same soothsayers.
Heading into the weekend, Coventry had won one point per game this season which indicates that the club has, at least temporarily, forgotten the art of winning.
