Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson has moved to play down the hype surrounding inform winger Ephron Mason-Clark.
Signed from Non-League Barnet in August, the 23-year-old scored in Tuesday’s 5-2 win over Burton, taking his tally for the season to six goals and six assists.
Regularly watched by scouts from Championship sides, Mason-Clark could be the next gem to roll off the Posh production line but Ferguson says he has a long way to go before he can be mentioned in the same breath as Dwight Gayle, Ivan Toney or George Boyd.
