MORECAMBE are on the brink of salvation after it was confirmed that a takeover by 20-year-old drinks tycoon Sarbjot Johal is close to completion.
The cash-strapped Shrimps have been desperately seeking new owners since October following the resignation of Colin Goldring and Jason Whittingham.
The duo - operating as Bond Investments Ltd - also owned rugby union side Worcester Warriors, who went into administration in September and were relegated from the Premiership.
