Predicting the Top Four Scorers in the 2022-23 English Championship League

Predicting the top four scorers in any given season of the English Championship League is a complicated task. Numerous talented players are competing for the title, and it can be difficult to narrow it down and make an accurate prediction. However, by taking a closer look at past performances, analyzing current forms, and Championship fixtures it is possible to find some potential contenders for this coveted accolade.

Ross Cameron Stewart

Ross Cameron Stewart is a born-and-raised Scottish professional footballer who currently plays for the English Premier League club Sunderland. This 26-year-old No.1 top-scorer on this list began his career with Newcastle United, where he made over 100 appearances in all competitions. For him, the year 2016 market had a turnover in his career when he joined Sunderland, and has since become an integral part of their team. He is honored with the first place on the list as he is known for his versatility, being able to play both as a central midfielder and as a right-back. His technical ability and passing range are no different either and have been praised by many pundits, making him one of the most sought-after players in the league.

Oli McBurnie

Oli McBurnie is a professional soccer player who currently plays for the English Premier League club Sheffield United. He began his career with Bradford City in 2013, before moving to Swansea City in 2015. During his time at Swansea, he made over 100 appearances and scored 24 goals, making him eligible to take the No.2 on this list. In 2019, he joined Sheffield United and has since become an integral part of their team. And Oli’s success story doesn’t end here – he has also represented Scotland at the international level, making his debut in 2018 and scoring two goals in seven appearances so far.

Scott Hogan

Scott Hogan is yet another English professional footballer who plays as a striker for the Championship club Birmingham City. He began his career with Rochdale, before joining Brentford in 2014. After two successful seasons at Griffin Park, he moved to Aston Villa in 2017 and then joined Stoke City on loan in 2019. Hogan has also represented the Republic of Ireland at the under-21 level.

Jay Rodriguez
