Another year, another manager sacked by Cardiff City. Mark Hudson lasted just 118 days in the role, the shortest reign of any Bluebirds manager since Bobby Gould’s six-game spell 23 years ago.
Nobody should be surprised. Not since Neil Warnock oversaw the doomed Premier League campaign of 2018-19 have the Bluebirds started and finished a season with the same person in the dugout.
