Toure hails Latics’ spirit

Kolo Toure praised his Wigan Athletic side’s fighting spirit after Will Keane netted deep into injury time to salvage a point for his side – who sit a point adrift at the bottom of the table after 27 games.
Toure’s men could argue they deserved a share of the points and while they remain at the foot of the table, they are by no means dead and buried.
Boss Toure will take heart from the fact his defence looked far more solid – albeit against the division’s lowest goal scorers – having conceded 12 goals in three successive defeats prior to this match.
