CLOUGH FUMES AS STAGS BLUNDER LATE ON

NIGEL Clough couldn’t hide his frustration after his Mansfield Town side fluffed their opportunity to reach the last 16 of the Papa Johns Trophy.
In the final second round match to be played, Mansfield took the lead through fit-again striker Rhys Oates in the sixth minute against Everton U21s at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.
The Stags looked set to secure a third round tie at Lincoln, but Liam Higgins and Tom Cannon both struck in stoppage time for the young Toffees to turn the tables.
