PRESTON’S 4-0 thumping at Luton in midweek may have embarrassed the club’s players.
Alan Browne, the skipper, called his team a disgrace. But one ugly defeat should not detract from the progress that new boss Ryan Lowe, below, has made.
Since the former Bury striker took charge in early December, Preston have taken more points than Bournemouth, Blackburn and QPR.
After a summer honing his style and an extra window to fine-tune his squad, Lowe will have Preston challenging for the top six next season.
