NEW Walsall boss Michael Flynn says he was inspired to take the Saddlers job by advice from his wife.
The 41-year-old, who left home-town club Newport County in October after fourand-a-half years in charge, was appointed on Tuesday.
He replaces former Bolton and West Ham midfielder Matt Taylor, who was sacked after a run of seven straight defeats left Walsall just four points above the League Two relegation zone.
