A group of German businessman have expressed an interest in investing in Bradford City.
Talks are at an elementary stage between the two parties, with the same German group monitoring the developments of last summer's failed takeover approach by Gianni Paladini.
Former QPR chairman Paladini had entered talks exclusively with Bantams joint-chairmen Mark Lawn and Julian Rhodes, but the Italian failed to meet the deadline set by the club's board.
Restricted by the exclusivity order, the German group has now stepped up its ambition to buy stakes in the west Yorkshire club, where Lawn and Rhodes have spent more than 18 years in charge. Though it has been said that Rhodes invited a number of German investors to a home match earlier in the season.
A number of parties are rumoured to be ‘interested' with the Bantams on the fringes of the League One play-off places in 10th position.
