HIBS HALT WOOD’S LOAN DEAL

MIDDLESBROUGH defender Nathan Wood’s loan spell with Hibernian has ended early.
The 19-year-old has only made one outing for Hibs since joining the club on a season-long deal in August.
A Boro statement read: “(Nathan) has now returned to Boro where he will continue his development with new manager Chris Wilder and the squad.
“Nathan won’t be eligible to play for Boro until January when his loan recall can be officially activated.”
Hibs added: “This decision has been made with Nathan’s development in mind.”
