CHRIS Wilder is a hell of a signing for Middlesbrough, and just what they needed to give the club some direction.
It’s a well-run club, very smartly organised. They just need someone to really guide the team, and Wilder will do that.
The last few seasons, they’ve gone down the route of experience. It’s worked to an extent, and Neil Warnock did a good job. But when someone like Wilder is available, for no compensation, you don’t hang around.
What will be interesting for me is seeing how Chris works with Kieran...
