RICARDO’S PRIDE AT CAPTAINCY

RICARDO Santos has spoken of his honour at being handed the Bolton captaincy.
The 26-year-old centre back was given the armband by boss Ian Evatt for the first time ahead of the draw with Gillingham following the surprise departure of Antoni Sarcevic.
Santos said: “It’s a massive club and I am honoured to be captain.
“With the squad we have, we have a lot of leaders, so for the gaffer to name me captain I’m so grateful.
“I’m very proud and it’s something I’m going to embrace. Now, I just want to lead the boys to more wins.”
