A CLUB transformed is how defender Nathan Smith describes life at Port Vale.
It was May 2019 when IT business owners Carol and Kevin Shanahan bought the club from Norman Smurthwaite, sparking a new era at Vale Park.
And following an impressive start to the new League Two season, Smith hailed the transformation the club has undergone after years of uncertainty.
“The change has been massive during the time I have been here. Unless you saw how it was, you wouldn’t understand,” said Smith, 25.
