TRIBUTE TO LEGENDARY ACE MARINER

THE illustrious career of former Plymouth Argyle and Ipswich Town striker Paul Mariner will be celebrated in Plymouth at the end of the month.
Funds raised from the event on Sunday, October 31, which will take place at Club Argyle, will go to The Brain Tumour Charity.
The previous day, two of Mariner’s former clubs will be in League One action at Home Park as Argyle host Ipswich.
Mariner, who died in July aged 68 after a brief battle with brain cancer, was transferred from the Pilgrims to Ipswich in 1976 and went on to win the FA Cup and the UEFA Cup during his h...
