RESULTS got Chris Hughton the sack, but his days at Nottingham Forest were numbered from the moment Dane Murphy arrived as CEO in July.
Hughton is a manager, old school and unapologetic. Despite the meek demeanour, he demands a significant degree of control over playing style and signings.
That much was clear when the 62-year-old spoke to The FLP on the day he was appointed last October.
“One thing I can tell you is that there won’t be anybody who comes to play for Nottingham Forest that I don’t want here,” he said.
