JOHNSON ECSTATIC TO REACH 50-GOAL TARGET

DANIEL Johnson reached one of his “personal goals” after scoring his 50th goal for Preston in midweek.
The 28-year-old midfielder scored their first equaliser against Sheffield United in the 2-2 draw and later admitted he was not aware that he had brought up a half century for North End.
“I didn’t actually know that, but it’s nice to know that now,” Johnson said.
“At the time it was just about us getting back in the game so it was a good feeling.
