CRISIS averted, for now at least. Aided by flat, compliant opponents, Leeds repelled the latest assault on their perch at the summit of the Championship.
That the Whites deserved victory is not in question. Bielsa’s men were the better side throughout.
City defended stoutly in appalling conditions, but could not have complained had it finished 5-0.
Nevertheless, Leeds’ problems have not been solved by one convincing win. Yet again, they hogged possession, created a slew of chances and ran their opponents ragged.
