JONSON SALUTES STRIKE PARTNER NICHOLS

IF ANYONE knows the value of a selfless strike partner, it’s Jonson Clarke-Harris.
The Bristol Rovers frontman grabbed his ninth goal of the season in his side’s 1-0 FA Cup first round replay win at Bromley in midweek and is used to the plaudits given his stellar statistics in League One.
But many of those strikes have been laid on by fellow striker Tom Nichols, 26, who has recently come under criticism for his own inferior scoring record – and Clarke-Harris is tired of hearing it.
