PAUL TAIT lived a boy’s own dream by scoring goals to win the Football League Trophy and the Second Division title in the space of a little over a fortnight.
‘Blue Nose’ Tait came off the bench to head Barry Fry’s side to their second win at Wembley in three attempts with a golden goal against Carlisle United.
He then repeated the trick a couple of weeks later, coming off the bench to put his side 2-0 up at Huddersfield Town on the last day of the season.
