KEWELL’S NOTTS GAMBLE

HARRY Kewell has clearly decided that Notts County give him a better chance of success than Crawley.
After guiding the Reds to a solid 14th place in League Two last term, the former Leeds and Liverpool winger left them in the same place in the table when he joined Notts on Friday.
Although the Magpies were propping up the division, they have an ambitious owner in Alan Hardy and greater resources than their League Two rivals. They also have a much bigger fanbase.
But after seeing Kevin Nolan dismissed in such ruthless fashion, the Australian surely knows there is little margin for error.
