’AMAZING’ JOE GETS EXTENSION

ROTHERHAM manager Paul Warne couldn’t hide his delight after midfielder Joe Newell signed a oneyear contract extension.
The 25-year-old joined from Peterborough three years ago and has played more than 100 games for the Millers. He has netted seven goals this term.
Warne said: “Joe wanted to stay here and by giving him this extension it suited everyone. He deserves it for the season he has had. He has been amazing this year and I’m really pleased for him. I want Joe to be a massive part of our future.”
