THE IMPS STAND BY SKIP DARIKWA

LINCOLN City say they were not prepared to leave stricken skipper Tendayi Darikwa facing an uncertain future - after handing the 34-year-old a contract extension until 2028.
The former Burnley and Nottingham Forest defender led the Imps to promotion from League One last term but ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the opening game of the season. He has since undergone surgery and will miss the remainder of the campaign.
