FORMER Burnley defender Phil Bardsley is confident the Clarets will be in the thick of the Championship promotion race this season.
Burnley have yo-yoed between the Premier League and second tier in recent seasons. On the last two occasions they were relegated from the top tier they bounced straight back and Bardsley believes they will be in the hunt again under new boss Nicky Hayen, appointed last month.
