CHARLTON ATHLETIC was scrambling to tie match-winning hero Tyreece Campbell to a new contract, after his exploits snatched victory against Derby County.
The 22-year-old winger, whose current terms expire next summer, scored in the 80th minute to seal a dramatic opening-day victory. His finish capped off a rousing home fightback, having trailed at the break to Sammie Szmodics’ effort.
