LEVELLER: Ipswich’s Ben Johnson celebrates

IT PROVED to be a memorable bank holiday Monday for Ipswich as they beat Birmingham to climb into the automatic promotion places.
Trailing to a Carlos Vicente strike on 32 minutes, the Tractor Boys quickly hit back through Ben Johnson (41) and Kasey McAteer (45) to bag a precious 2-1 victory.
They rode their luck at times, not least when the visiting Blues had a second half goal disallowed when the ball was controversially ruled to have gone out of play before it subsequently entered the net.
