JAKIROVIC FRUSTRATED AFTER BRANNAGAN’S GOAL DENIES TIGERS

HULL CITY boss Sergej Jakirovic peppered in a mixture of anger and encouragement, reacting to a dropped early-lead to draw at Oxford.
An upbeat Hull roared into action with Mo Belloumi’s finish, as the Algerian slotted home Semi Ajayi’s long pass, to mark his injury-return.
The Tigers’ initial thrill was duly nullified by Cameron Brannagan’s penalty, awarded after Charlie Hughes had chopped down a goal-bound Will Lankshear.
With an Easter Monday clash with Coventry City waiting in the wings,
Jakirovic was left torn by mixed emotions.
