MAX Crocombe proved the hero with two penalty saves as Grimsby Town rounded off the group stages in dramatic fashion by knocking out Manchester City U21s. Both sides went into Tuesday’s game knowing that victory would see them top Northern Group F and it was the Mariners who stormed into an early lead.
