Veteran centre-back Richard Wood’s early status as one of the Championship’s top-ten marksmen is ‘no surprise’ to the goalkeeper who tries to stop him netting on a daily basis.
Wood, 37, was level with the likes of Ben Brereton Diaz, Andreas Weimann and Ilias Chair on three goals ahead of this weekend’s programme of fixtures after a potent August for Rotherham.
