When Ibou Touray was handed the captain’s armband at Salford City this summer, he didn’t need to look far for inspiration on how the job should be done.
Touray was an 18-year-old Everton hopeful when Ammies part-owner Phil Neville was skippering the Goodison Park club.
And the manner in which the ex-Manchester United and England utility man carried out that responsibility is now being harnessed by Touray as he leads out Salford.
