FLYNNY HAS BEEN IMMENSE FOR THE EXILES…

I HADN’T been in post at Newport County for very long when it became clear to me that Michael Flynn really ought to be doing my job!
Flynny actually called me on the club’s behalf as their commercial manager to invite me to come and meet the board and I followed up by bringing him onto my coaching staff when I was appointed.
Nothing was too much trouble for him. He just wanted the very best for his hometown club and he went all-in however he could to support me as I tried to lift the club’s fortunes.
