CONLON IS ‘TOP PRO’

DARRELL Clarke lauded “model pro” Tom Conlon following his display in Port Vale’s midweek win over Newport County – Clarke’s first since taking charge of the club.
The midfielder, 25, gave the Valiants the lead with a composed finish and helped them to a first victory in nine games.
Clarke said: “Since I came through the door Tom has been outstanding.
“The way he dedicates his life to football, we need more players like that.”
