LOWE’S CHUFFED TO STAY WITH THE PILGRIMS

MANAGER Ryan Lowe insisted it was a ‘no-brainer’ to sign a new contract to keep him at Plymouth Argyle until the summer of 2024.
Lowe took over in 2019 after leading Bury to promotion from League Two and repeated the feat in his first season with the Pilgrims to lead them into the third tier.
Plymouth have made a solid impact in League One, sitting 12th in the table after yesterday’s 2-2 draw at Portsmouth.
Lowe’s assistant Steven Schumacher has also extended his deal.
