THE issue of Covid call-offs is something we’ve had to get used to in the opening months of this season.
In general, things seem to have operated fairly smoothly. Where there have been coronavirus cases, clubs have, in the main, been able to call games off.
Yes, there has been the odd grumble from the opposition, especially when a game has been called off at the last minute, but there has been an acceptance that health and safety comes first.
