DANNY Lloyd celebrated a perfect birthday present after putting pen to paper on a contract extension with Tranmere.
The midfielder turned 29 on Thursday and celebrated by signing a deal until the end of the season, having impressed since joining the League Two outfit last month.
“It is a really nice present and has made my day,” he said. “I have loved every minute since I signed for the club.
“If I look back to where I was three or four weeks ago, it is worlds apart and I am so pleased to be here. Long may it continue.
